MY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
I am dually qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist as well as an Audiologist – commonly referred to as a Communication Pathologist. I also obtained a diploma in Higher Education (H.E.D).
I have been in private practice since 1982.
Over these years I have acquired valuable experience in diagnosing and treating patients suffering from various communication deficits, including traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and serious developmental deficiencies – all resulting in significant shortcomings in their ability to communicate.
I am an owner member of iCan – the Independent Connected Audioly Network (ican.org.za). I was a member of the South African Association of Audiologists (audiologysa.co.za) and have served three terms as a member of the Executive Council – including a two-year term as National President.
I have provided expert legal support services for the past 15 years.

Sadly, many incidences of traumatic brain injuries and developmental deficiencies are caused by medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents or even personal accidents or injuries.
I can provide an objective, unbiased Medico-Legal support service to legal practitioners on matters relating to my field of expertise.
During my interview with your client, I will conduct an in-depth diagnostic assessment of your client’s voice, speech, language, auditory processing and hearing and I am prepared to present my opinion in court.
